Crossfit Knightdale

The CrossFit prescription is performing “functional movements that are constantly varied at high intensity.” CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. The CrossFit program is designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. The domains are: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individuals competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. This fitness is demanded of military and police personnel, firefighters, and many sports requiring total or complete physical prowess. CrossFit has proven effective in these arenas.

About the owners:

In early 2017, Lee Ann and Jim found themselves without a job after having each worked in the association industry for over 20 years. Instead of continuing down the same career path, Lee Ann chose to use the time to rediscover her “true” self. In this place of transition and uncertainty, she was led to mindfulness. Mindfulness then led to meditation. And, meditation led to yoga. However, due to numerous surgeries on her foot, elbows and shoulders in addition to ongoing vertigo, she rarely practiced yoga in a group setting. In her search for yoga classes that catered to her situation, she came upon Honor Yoga. Even though Honor Yoga was based in New Jersey, the mission, values and vision resonated with her as did the type of classes that would meet her needs such as Restorative, Gentle and Chair Yoga. It became her dream to open an Honor Yoga studio to offer classes to individuals from beginner to advanced and everything in between. She is certified as a yoga instructor, RYT200, and as a Reiki Level III Practitioner.
As a CFO and previous small business owner, the thought of owing a franchise intrigued him, but trying to find one that was profitable as well as purposeful that he could do with his wife seemed problematic. From the time that his wife starting sharing Honor Yoga’s information, he shared in her enthusiasm of the company’s mission, vision and values. Jim took his first yoga class while attending Honor Yoga’s Discovery Day in New Jersey. He will be the main support behind the business.Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, dog, sky, outdoor and water

Infinite Wellness, Inc.

Offering Chiropractic Services, Acupuncture, Fitness, and More!

About Dr. Glen:

Before the age of 25, I had never heard of a Chiropractor. During my undergraduate studies in Biology with a pre-medical concentration, I became very discouraged with the health model and where it was headed (more like what we have now!). Upon nearing completion of my degree, I decided to shift the majority of my studies towards Genetics as my interest in Western medicine began to fade. I completed my Bachelor’s degree but did not apply to Medical school, nor take the MCAT (medical college entrance examination).

In the final year of my undergraduate studies, I participated in genetic research at the institution hoping to find the answers to the ailments and diseases of mankind. I wanted to help people but no longer had a desire to treat using drugs and surgery. I hoped I could impact mankind in a new way through genetics. By studying genetics, I learned something very amazing – we all have the same capability of healing!! We just needed a way to unlock the body’s potential to do so. Even at this point in life and with all of my studies, I really was not sure how to do that. So, I began searching for a graduate school to get my Master’s degree in Genetic Research.

Then, the miracle phone call happened (or so I like to call it)! My college roommate (another intelligent scholar in the field of Cell Biology) called me and said, “I think I have found what we both have been searching for!” He divulged that he had been in an auto accident, and his family recommended he visit their Chiropractor. After receiving treatment for conditions resulting from the accident, he felt better – even better than he had before the accident. Though I was highly skeptical, I decided to give chiropractic a chance. I proceeded to Dallas, TX where I attended Parker College of Chiropractic. The rest of my story can best be described as a miracle. You can hear all of it at one of my lectures – truly worth coming to hear!

My Goal in starting Infinite Wellness was to have a place where everyone with the desire to be healthy could come and find everything under one roof. With treatments including Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, Nutrition and Exercise, we have seen the miracles in ourselves and our patients that the body’s natural ability for healing can achieve. I would love the opportunity to share more of my story with you as well as help you find the answers you are looking for. Infinite Wellness, Inc. is a great place to find a natural way to help you with your health and wellness concerns. I can’t wait to hear from you and to help you along that journey
