Paul's Barber Shop held their Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at their handsome location just off New Bern Avenue & Rogers Lane in Raleigh. Family and staff joined owner Paul Ingram as the Chamber extended congratulations and acknowledgements for being a valued Chamber member and positive community resource. Widewaters Learning Center - Knightdale held their Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Friday, June 12, 2009, the afternoon before their community-wide Open House and Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday June 13th. Rex Healthcare - Knightdale celebrated their grand opening of their new facility with a Ribbon Cutting and outdoor festival on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Lots of family-fun activities, tours of the brand-new, state-of-the-art 63,000 SF facility, chances to win great prizes including a Wii, appearances by Mike Wheless (WQDR), Rexie the Dinosaur and Muddy the Mudcat. The facility offers diagnostic imaging, lab and mammography services, a sleep disorders center, Rex Express Care (urgent care), a wound healing center and the Rex Family Practice. We're thrilled to welcome Rex as our newest neighbor!

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Buckthal Orthodontics' new Knightdale location took place during our May Business After Hours at their beautiful office facility on Thursday, May 14, 2009. Thanks for hosting a lovely catered reception, and also for co-sponsoring the May Teacher Excellence Award! Great door prizes, including a grand prize Invisalign package won by members Knightdale Plumbing, were given away throughout the evening. Congratulations and thanks, Dr. Buckthal and staff!

Wake Heart and Vascular Associates, PA together with Knightdale Family Practice celebrated their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of their new suite of offices at Knightdale Blvd on Thursday, April 23, 2009. After a gracious welcoming, the celebration commenced with a taste of true southern hospitality, with tours of the new facility, heart-healthy hors d'oeuvres, and a pig pickin' outside in the parking lot! Congratulations to all who made this day special and memorable!

The Chamber celebrated the opening of the gift shop at Michael Blake’s Garden Center & Gift Shop on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.  Family, friends, and chamber officials looked on as Mayor Russell Killen assisted Mike and Jessica Blake and family cut the ribbon.  Attendees were treated to a delicous lunch and tours of the new gift shop and garden center.

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the Grand Opening of A'Net's Katch Fresh Seafood Market, located at 2009 Village Park Drive in Knightdale was held on Friday, March 27, 2009. A'Net's Katch has a large display case packed with over 25 items ranging from crab legs to oysters to fresh filets and whole fish!

Mayor Russell Killen cut the ribbon to celebrate the Grand Opening of Duke Medicine Knightdale on Thursday, March 26, 2009 while Duke Raleigh Hospital President & CEO Doug Vinsel welcomed Elected officials, Chamber officials, Duke Medical staff, and a large crowd of of over 150 attendees. Guests were treated to tours of the new 40,000 sq. ft. Duke Medical Plaza, 162 Legacy Oaks Drive, located just off of I 540 and Knightdale Blvd. (Business 64).  "We are very glad to be here," said Mr. Vinsel, "...and we're glad you're here."
