On Wednesday, July 9, Planet Fitness celebrated its official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at 2001 Widewaters Parkway in Knightdale. Guests had the opportunity to become a new member for just $1 down, enter to win great door prizes (including a $250 gas card and an elliptical trainer) and enjoy a delicious buffet.

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Tuesday, July 1 to celebrate the new location of Parker Monuments, 7703 Knightdale Blvd., Knightdale.

A Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new medical building  that will be located on the corner of Knightdale Boulevard and Boseman (next to the Tractor Supply Company) was held on Wednesday, June 18.  This new medical complex will be home to Knightdale Family Care (new name), Wake Heart and Vascular Associates,  Vein Care Pavilion of Raleigh, Knightdale Orthopedics Urgent Care and a laboratory diagnostic services group yet to be announced. 

On Wednesday, June 11, Black Belt World celebrated the grand opening of the Gazebo of Korea and America at 300 Black Belt World Dr, Ste. 101 in Knightdale.  Guests experienced the rich Korean culture with a full luncheon buffet, traditional dances, and Tae Kwon Do demonstrations! 

On Tuesday, June 5, Knightdale Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the Grand Opening of Sears Home Appliance Showroom, 2001 Widewaters Pkwy, Suite A, Knightdale, NC.

On Thursday, April 17, Rex Healthcare officially broke ground in Knightdale. The 63,000 square-foot ambulatory healthcare center will be a premier medical facility and is scheduled to open in May 2009. A variety of much-needed services will be offered to area residents, including: urgent care, diagnostic imaging, x-ray, lab, wound care center, digital mammography, mobile CT, sleep lab and physician offices in a state-of-the-art facility.

On Tuesday, April 8, Fun House Productions celebrated their move to the Knightdale area with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
