  • The new Duke Medical Plaza Knightdale, opened in 2009, is the most recent addition to the Duke Health network of facilities, all boasting in Duke reputation as one of the nation's best for providing outstanding healthcare.  This 40,000 square-foot cutting-edge medical facility offers primary care, urgent care, gastroenterology, pulmonology, cardiology, orthopedics, imaging services, and physical therapy.

    Nearby Duke Raleigh Hospital is a 186-bed facility on Wake Forest Road in North Raleigh just off I-440 West.  A full-service acute care hospital, Duke Raleigh's range of services includes intensive and critical care, neuro step-down unit, comprehensive cancer services, orthopaedic center, and cardiovascular services.  The hospital also offers physical rehabilitation, diabetes treatment program, wound healing, hyperbaric medicine, sleep center, and community and health education programs.

  • Rex Healthcare's new facility in Knightdale offers express care, a family practice, a sleep disorder center, a wound care center, diagnostic laboratory, imaging services (including digital mammography), and both a general surgery practice and orthopedic practice.  This facility is the latest in a host of Rex facilities located around the Triangle area, all a part of, and carrying the outstanding reputation of the UNC Health Care system.

    Rex Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit healthcare system that has provided superior care to Wake County and surrounding area since 1894.  The main Rex Hospital campus, located on Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh, includes a family birth center, cancer center, convalescent care center, same day surgery center, heart & vascular center, and wellness center.  Rex Hospital also includes dedicated clinics for pain management, sleep disorders, and a state-of-the-art emergency services department.

    Further, Rex offers a comprehensive campus located at the corner of Cary Parkway, Rex Healthcare of Cary and Lake Pine Drive, Rex Healthcare of Wakefield.
